What a wonderful, inspiring discussion. Caroline, I love your encouragement to trust the subconscious ability of our minds. So much of my own mid-life creative journey has been because “it feels right.” I absolutely love this podcast!🙌❤️

Thank you, Maria. As you can hear, I really enjoyed being Hannah's guest - she makes it so easy to have a lovely conversation. Well done for allowing your intuition to guide you. I believe there should be a lot more focus in school on how our brains and minds work, and how to get the best out of them.

A wonderful and enlightening conversation! As I’ve un-officially retired from my professional life and am nearly an empty nester, I constantly think “what’s next”? I love Caroline’s advice for helping to explore and eventually find those answers.

This was a brilliant discussion! Absolutely loved what Caroline said about how stories are to us what water is to fish. So true.

Thanks for listening and for your lovely comment, Lindsay. Of course I remembered the quote as soon as the conversation ended! "We live in story like a fish lives in water", by author and educator, Christina Baldwin. I had it on the back of my business cards when I was a copywriter and it still means a lot to me. Thank you. x

This is so inspiring! Thanks for sharing your story Caroline and Hannah. Really interesting to hear how a quite traumatic event can be the catalyst you need for change. And so fascinating how easy the new path forged its way for you Caroline. I’m thinking of training to be a life coach, and this episode really inspired me to take the plunge.

I loved listening to this Hannah and Caroline. Such a powerful and inspiring story. I feel like I’ve grown in self awareness as I’ve got older but I’d say it’s been quite unstructured, it goes in fits and starts of realisation where I’ve thought I was/wanted one thing, but found out, to my surprise that it’s not what I thought. I love the idea of exploring this more intentionally. I’ve read lots of books that have helped my journey and I have had coaches who’ve been instrumental in some of the breakthroughs of personal understanding too. I’m so curious now about Caroline’s work, I’m going to take a look! 💛

I’m so glad you enjoyed listening, Emily! My experience of self awareness is that it’s chaotic but I think that’s also part of the joy of self-discovery. Things happen when you least expect them.

Thank you for letting us know, Emily. It was a lovely thing to do and Hannah is such an easy person to tell things to. I agree that self-awareness is a life-long path and not a smooth one. I led a coaching session at lunchtime around values and creating a powerful motivating statement for ourselves and it was a great reminder that our values evolve over time, as we do. It's helpful to review them every couple of years and I actually changed one of my top 5 values just last night! So there's another self-awareness download. Thanks again for listening and commenting. :)
