Great interview, Hannah! I could relate to what Sophie said about the idea of taking a step back in order to take a leap forwards. I think there’s so much fear in letting go of the salary, the pension, the stability. But sometimes you have to! (Though I totally appreciate this comes from a place of privilege…)
Thanks so much for listening, Sarah! That resonated a lot with me too and after what I wrote on Sunday about money, listening back to this interview was quite reassuring in reminding me that it takes time for the leap to come and to hang in there!
🏴 I need a trip to Scotland soon. It's been too long! 💙
Yes, I loved that sentiment too - we are often rushing around and so pausing for a moment can help, but having the ability to step back for a longer period can provide new perspectives for sure.
Wonderful interview! I love the Snakes and Ladders analogy, how some risky moves and what feel like setbacks can position us better than before. And the idea that when we make bold moves, the universe will answer…I’m holding on to that one!
I can’t believe I was once fit enough to do that! But Sophie really was an inspirational role model at the time in helping me to believe that I could do it. These days I only do those activities separately and slowly! 🏊♀️ 🚲 🏃🏻♀️
Also agree that Scotland is the most beautiful place on the planet 😄💛

I'm holding onto that one too, Maria!
Thank you so much for listening and I'm very pleased you enjoyed it 🧡
Hannah, I love hearing about all these incredible things you've done. Casually dropping in that you're a triathlete! xo
