Picture the scene…
It’s Monday evening, 7:00pm (UK time), you make yourself a cup of your favourite tea or even pour a glass of red, light a scented candle, cosy up in a quiet spot and log on to a gentle, encouraging, hour-long opportunity to make your Monday that tiny bit more creative.
How does it work?
The first five minutes are a gentle welcome, with the opportunity to say hello and to share what you plan to work on during the session. There’s no pressure - you can simply listen and take it all in if you prefer. Then we have, 50 minutes to use creatively in silence, however you wish, with your camera on and sound muted.
✨You might decide to use the time to: write, read, draw, design, paint, compose, bake, listen to a piece of music, knit, craft or something else✨
In the final few minutes, we take a moment to reflect on how we got on and those that wish to can discuss their creations. Again, no pressure!
Why should I join?
Sometimes, we need a dose of gentle accountability to help us along. Seeing each other there in the tiny squares on the screen is encouraging. Together or ‘ensemble’ in French, we are stronger.
There are times when I think I should make time to read something specific or work on a craft project. Yet I rarely do those things unless I make the time for it. Create Ensemble is that time.
Who is this for?
Paying subscribers to Chez Hanny can access the registration links at the bottom of this post and will also receive a sign up link by email during the week before the session.
All creative levels of ability can join, the whole point here is to work on something for you. You choose what you do with your time and you never have to show your work.
When and where?
Sessions take place monthly, usually on a Monday from 7-8pm (UK time). They are hosted on Zoom and the link is available below and also emailed to paid subscribers during the week before the session.
