September is nice. It’s sunny here in London, and there’s that ‘start of term’ energy going on that I quite like. I say quite like because ironically I don’t like the actual start of term side of it. This is the second academic year that I’ve been teaching part-time alongside running my interior design business, writing here, making podcasts and tutoring online.
A year ago I was so deliriously happy to have left behind my stressful full-time teaching job that the 3-days of teaching felt good. But twelve months later the goalposts have moved again and I find myself wanting to make a further career change.
What follows is behind a paywall because I don’t feel comfortable putting this out for anyone to find and read. I hope you understand that.
Free subscribers, please do upgrade if you want to read more, but otherwise I’ve got a an available-to-all post coming on Sunday which will share everything I’ve learnt thus far on building a (reasonably) successful Substack.
