November has gone quickly hasn’t it? I can’t believe it’s the final day of the month, but here we are. I want to say thank you to everyone who commented on my previous post ‘Does a career change mean I have to say goodbye to travel adventures?’. I truly wasn’t sure about posting but the conversations I’ve had with many of you have been really brilliant and there have been a good number of helpful and creative suggestions about ways to travel without having to spend loads of money. It’s given me plenty of things to think about.
I want to begin by saying that I’m making a few changes to the frequency of this newsletter. Since August 2023, I’ve been sending out two newsletters per week and I did that because it felt right and I had plenty of things to write about and share.
As of today, I’m going to write one newsletter every week, usually on Sunday. Every other week it will be available to all (free and paying readers) and then the in between weeks will be for paying readers only.
The main reason for this change is because I have launched an email newsletter for Hannah Ashe Interior Design, called Find Your Style. My interior design business is growing steadily and I feel now is the time to launch a weekly email newsletter which is completely specific to interiors. I could have launched it here on Substack, but I’ve decided to keep it separate so that this remains the place for my more personal writing on a range of topics still very much including career change, creativity, living in London and slowing the pace down a little. There will still be some interior design from time to time but if you’d like more of that specifically, I’d love it if you wanted to sign up to Find Your Style.
The remainder of today’s piece is for paying subscribers, but I will be back next Sunday with something for everyone.
