You most likely didn’t notice, but I took a little break from writing over the past week. It’s currently half term which means I have two weeks off from the part-time teaching job 🙌🏻
Last week I used that extra time to focus on my interior design business - Hannah Ashe Interior Design - and I’m already seeing that injection of energy paying off in the form of new work rolling in. The photo above was taken last week at a finished project and it is such a joy to see a design literally come to life. This was the design:

This week my husband has also taken the week off and rather than go to France, as we often do, we decided to have a staycation and literally stay at home for the week. We’ve been getting up to all sorts of fun things in London and the surrounding areas and I’m going to write a long post on the concept of a staycation in your own home which will be published on Sunday.
Today I wanted to share a few business wins from last week with some thoughts on why and how those things happened, including more on the bathroom project photographed above.
